About...

A conservation biologist focused on endangered reptiles and ecosystems around South East Asia and the South Pacific. My passion and research interests concentrates on studying the ecology and behavior of organisms to improve our understanding of spatial movements, population dynamics, and habitat requirements---helping to mitigate threats and ensure sustainable populations into the future.

My research depends heavily on community-based conservation efforts. Education, local capacity building, and social engagement is essential to biodiversity conservation. As someone who is just passionate about life, traveling, and nature, I also thoroughly enjoy using online platforms and visual documentations of my fieldwork and travels as a powerful means to inspire, raise awareness, and connect people to wildlife and cultures around the world.

My Fijian brothers and the conservation allstars of Fiji, Mata and Jone. Jone works with the National Trust of Fiji and Mata is the head Iguana Ranger on the island of Yadua Taba. (Fiji 2017).
